Oleksii Bakharev passed away

The midfielder Oleksii Bakharev played for Shakhtar from 1999 to 2004, made a total of 177 appearances and scored 13 goals. He was an important player of the team who participated in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time in their history (2000/01) and secured the first league title in Ukraine (2001/02). After his player career, Oleksii has worked as a children's coach at the Shakhtar Academy for more than 10 years.
