Today is the eightieth day of the Ukrainian people’s heroic resistance to Russian military invasion.
The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone. The aggressor fires along the entire contact line and deep down our troops’ defence. The greatest activity of the occupiers is in the Slobozhanshchyna and Donetsk-bound directions.
There is still a danger of the enemy launching missile and bomb strikes on military and civilian targets in Ukraine.
In the Volyn, Polissya, and Sivershchyna directions, the situation did not change and the enemy did not take any active action.
In the territory of the Gomel region of the Republic of Belarus, the demining works in the area of the former base of the units of the Russian Federation are being registered.
In the Kharkiv-bound direction, the occupiers focused their efforts on retaining their positions, controlling supply routes in the roads north and east of the city of Kharkiv, as well as preventing the advance of our troops towards the state border.
The regrouping of enemy units and the creation of stockpiles of materials and technical means continue in the Slovyansk direction.
In the Donetsk-bound direction, the enemy grouping focuses its main efforts on preparation for offensive operations in the areas of Severodonetsk, Soledar, and Bakhmut, they replenish reserves and regroups their units. Up to two battalion tactical groups have been moved in this direction. The enemy troops are conducting assault operations along the contact line with the support of aircraft and artillery. They have partial success in the area of Avdiivka.
In the Lyman and Severodonetsk directions, the enemy is regrouping its troops. The strengthening of the grouping with forces of up to a battalion tactical group in the area of the Novy Aidar railway station was noticed.
In Mariupol, the enemy troops continue to blockade our units near the Azovstal iron & steel works. They inflict massive artillery and air strikes and conduct assault operations.
In the Zaporizhia direction, the enemy focused its main efforts on artillery shelling of our positions.
The situation in the South Buh area has not changed significantly. The aggressor focuses its main efforts on retaining the occupied frontiers, conducting reconnaissance, replenishing ammunition as well as fuel and lubricants, engineering equipment of their positions, and carrying out artillery shelling of our troops' positions.
In the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova, armed groups have switched to daily operations. At the same time, units of the operational group of Russian troops continue to be on high alert.
Ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas perform tasks to isolate the warfare area, reconnaissance and fire support in the coastal direction.
The enemy is trying to increase its military presence at the Snake Island, strengthening the air defence system.
Russian troops continue to deliberately destroy Ukraine's civilian infrastructure by launching missile strikes and artillery shelling of settlements in the Donetsk, Odesa, Luhansk, and Kharkiv Oblasts.
The enemy troops in the temporarily occupied territories of eastern and southern Ukraine are trying to involve Ukrainian citizens in work at the occupational institutions and illegal law enforcement agencies, violating the citizens’ rights and freedoms.
