The Miners’ newcomer met with the displaced people and trained with the participants of the "Come On, Let’s Play!" project

On October 2, Shakhtar player Yehor Nazaryna visited Shelter Centre at the Arena Lviv. The footballer met with the displaced people living in the shelter, and during the conversation, he conveyed the words of support to them from the whole team. Currently, more than 170 temporary internal migrants from different regions of Ukraine are permanently staying in the center organized by FC Shakhtar.

Yehor Nazaryna also took part in the children’s training of the "Come On, Let’s Play!" project. Free classes for local children and IDPs are held at the Arena Lviv on the initiative of Shakhtar Social and DTEK company, which is a partner of the foundation. Project participants and mentors are provided with everything necessary for equipment training. The newcomer of the Orange-blacks showed the young players a few exercises, participated in the match, after which he took memorable photos.
I am happy to come here to support displaced children, spend time with them, and play football. I hope that my arrival also gave them positive emotions – this is the most important thing in such meetings
Yehor Nazaryna, Shakhtar player:

– I am happy to come here to support displaced children, spend time with them, and play football. I hope that my arrival also gave them positive emotions – this is the most important thing in such meetings. We talked with the kids and they promised that they would support us in the game with Real Madrid, I told them that we are with them, we also support them, so we are here. I spoke to children from Mariupol: they are from the football team, they have a tournament here on October 10-11, and I wished them success.

As a reminder, Shakhtar's Shelter Center at the Arena Lviv was opened on April 9 this year, since then it has received more than 2 thousand internal migrants from different regions of Ukraine.

It should be noted that about 3 billion hryvnias, or 100 million dollars, have already been transferred by the businesses of SCM, Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and the Shakhtar football club to help Ukraine and Ukrainians since February 24, 2022. In total, the assistance covered 13.5 million people.
