– Did the team have enough emotions today? And how can you assess the actions of the players who got into the rotation and played?
– First, I have not seen what was happening in the other matches, but I can see from the mood here that Vorskla are having a lot of fun, so I congratulate them on making it into the European competitions. And maybe this is where there was a slight difference in the efforts of one team and another. But we played well and were closer to the opponent's goal, but perhaps we lacked specifics – the last pass, the last shot. The finishing was not at such high level to implement our attacks. And still, I think that the players who played today gave us a lot of benefits during the season: they are an integral part of title-holding Shakhtar; and it happened more than once that when they came on in the starting line-up or from the bench, they changed the course of the game. Because we are a team in which the players who came on as substitutes have the most goal involvement according to the goal+pass system. This makes me happy as a coach. And they simply deserved today's match. Again: we were closer to victory, but the penalty and the second goal of Vorskla, which we could have avoided, just turned the result in their favour. As for the game, everything was fine. We are now taking a well-deserved rest and will prepare for the next season.

– Piatov by himself is such a goalkeeper who deserves to play every match. In terms of behaviour and quality. The fact that Trubin plays and is our main goalkeeper is, of course, a great psychological stress for such a young goalkeeper. And it is necessary to understand that after such exhausting matches, in order to play in the goalkeeper position, you must have focus and motivation. And through this we understood that today it will be Piatov. Besides, he grew up here, in Poltava. The combination of these factors, all the aspects, made us understand that he will play in the goal today.
And yes, I will say again: we removed one big burden in the last match, deservedly won the championship, so this match was played by the players who wanted to be in the starting eleven all the time, but somewhere, maybe, played less. We will not make conclusions in the heat of the moment, but there are always football aspects that will give you advantages and disadvantages for the next season, which will begin a month after the first days of the training camp.
