Shakhtar women’s team head coach Roman Zaiev commented on the win against EMS-Podillia and assessed Vikrotiia Holovach’s play
– We were preparing for a difficult match and motivating the team for it. Our position and the club’s crest require the right approach to the game and the result. We knew that EMS-Podillia are not easy opponents and I’m glad we managed to break this team.
– Did you pass the opponents’ defence more easily after the first scored goal?
– Of course, the first goal set the priority on the football field. The team breathed more freely and worked with the ball more efficiently.
