Shakhtar defeated Dynamo with a high score, making goals in both halves
Yuliia Semeniuk returns to the starting line-up after the game against Veres, while Starukhina took Kozub’s place on the defensive wing.
Advantage in the majority
In the beginning of the match, there was a key episode that affected the further course of the game. During one of Shakhtar’s first attacks, Slavych played off the line, which Molodiuk took advantage of, but after Yelyzaveta’s shot Holovko blocked the ball with her hand – send-off and spot-kick, which was coolly converted by Veherych. Having a numerical advantage, Zaiev’s team completely dominated the field, allowing the visiting team to create danger near Klimova’s goal only after the set pieces. And Shakhtar converted the next opportunity in the 33rd minute of the game with the efforts of the captain: Holovach handled the ball after Vykaliuk’s cross from the wing and pushed it into the already empty net at the second attempt. Then Vykaliuk herself made sharp mid-range shots several times, but missed the gate of Dynamo. Shakhtar’s third goal happened in added time before the break: it was scored by Molodiuk, who opened up to Vykaliuk’s cross and converted the opportunity with a one-timer.

In the second half, Shakhtar correctly took advantage of the power play, noticeably outmatched the opponents physically and scored two more times. At first, Semeniuk was successful in finishing off after Molodiuk’s great shot from the penalty area. Later, Molodiuk herself scored a goal: having won the fight in the centre of the field, Yelyzaveta independently arranged a one-on-one, which she successfully implemented. Before the final whistle, there were several opportunities after long-range shots by Mokhnach (above the target) and Holovach (Slavych reacted to a set-piece shot). In the last minute, Prokopenko almost took advantage of the lack of coordination in Shakhtar’s defence, but Klimova successfully covered for the defenders, playing off the line.
