Shakhtar U19 began their preparations for the meeting with PSV U19 in the UEFA Youth League
On Friday, November 22, Shakhtar U19 players began their preparations for the away UEFA Youth League match against PSV U19, which will take place next Wednesday in Eindhoven. The training session took place at the Academy in Shchaslyve.
It started with activation exercises using hurdles aimed at preparing the footballers for further loads. After the warm-up, the players, divided into subgroups, proceeded to perform unconventional exercises. The main part of the session was focused on recovery. In total, it took about an hour and ended with shooting drills.
Oleksandr Lomaha, forward:
– We are in good physical form after a two-week break from playing. The match against Inhulets U19 was quite exhausting, so today we had a recovery session. The UEFA Youth League matches are on a whole different level, and PSV U19 are good opponents for which we are preparing accordingly. The tournament position is additional motivation, of course, we want to win and advance as far as possible in the competition.

We remind that the UEFA Youth League MD 5 game between PSV U19 and Shakhtar U19 will take place at the PSV Campus de Herdgang in Eindhoven on November 27. It kicks off at 15:00 Kyiv time. The live stream will be available on the FC Shakhtar app and the club’s official website in the Live section.
