During the international break, Shakhtar women’s team were preparing for the game against Ladomyr at the Academy facility in Shchaslyve. It should be noted that midfielders Lidiia Zaborovets, Yelyzaveta Maslovska and Anastasiia Liakhovych were at the training camp of Ukraine WU19.

– The game against Ladomyr is extremely important for us, because our goal is to get a positive result and the necessary points. It is known that the opponent’s squad is very young and promising, which is why I am sure that the game will be intense and interesting. We have been preparing for the meeting with Ladomyr for two weeks, so we know how to act to achieve our goal.

In the winter pre-season, there were changes in the Volodymyr-based team: experienced Viktoriia Hiryn and Yuliia Stets left the club, and young players Nataliia Hrynda, Dariia Klantsata, and Elvira Zinko joined instead. In the first matches of the second stage of the competition, Ladomyr failed to gain any points, losing to Kolos (0-1), Seasters (0-4) and Vorskla (0-5). It should be noted that Diana Tkachuk, Mariia Ihnatenko, Anastasiia Tarasenko and Viktoriia Savkina were called up to Ukraine WU19 for the European Qualifiers.
