Darijo Srna

Darijo has held the position since 2020.

He started his career at HNK Hajduk Split, Croatia. In July 2003, he signed a contract with FC Shakhtar, spending 15 years there as a leader and captain of the team. Mr Srna is a record holder for the number of appearances in all competitions (536). As a player, he won 26 trophies with Shakhtar: the UEFA Cup, 10 League titles, 7 Cups and 8 Super Cups of Ukraine.

In June 2019, he retired from professional football to become an assistant manager at Shakhtar. A year later, he was appointed as Director of Football.

Education

In 2020, Mr Srna received a UEFA PRO license.
