Bio & Career
As a player, Mert is a product of Beşiktaş, having played as a central midfielder and forward for various Turkish league clubs, most notably Göztepe (2008–2010), Alanyaspor (2011–2012), and Karagümrük (2016–2017). He ended his playing career in summer 2024.
Coaching career: Eyüpspor (2024–2025, analyst).
