In 2009, Radion began his career as an analyst at Shakhtar Academy, working with all age groups as well as Shakhtar-3, and later headed the Academy’s scientific and analytical department. From 2013, he coordinated the Academy’s analysts and worked as an analyst for Shakhtar U21 under Miguel Cardoso, and later Valerii Kryventsov. In the summer of 2018, Radion joined the first team’s coaching staff as an analyst under Luis Castro, and later worked under Roberto De Zerbi, Igor Jovicevic, Patrick van Leeuwen, Darijo Srna and Marino Pusic.

Coaching career: Shakhtar Academy (2009–2018, analyst, head of the analytics department), Shakhtar (from 2018, analyst).

Since May 27, 2025, Radion Paltsun has been part of Arda Turan’s coaching staff.
