Shakhtar Social combines efforts with the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine to support gender equality and family values.
Shakhtar Social develops women's football in Ukraine with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). In December 2018, they formed an FC Shakhtar girls team in Kharkiv (it will be a professional women's team in the future) who train on a regular basis and take part in competitions.
200 girls aged 7 to 12 are engaged in the Come On, Let’s Play! project in different cities and towns of the country.
Since 2017, UNFPA has been the club’s partner in the projects supporting responsible fatherhood, gender equality, combating violence and promoting healthy lifestyles among young people and families.
