Elvira's mother and father were border guards and served in one of the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. Her dad retired before the start of the full-scale invasion, but returned to the army and once again made a stand for the state. He was killed in the line of the duty. A tragedy happened on the eve of the girl's birthday – her mother died as a result of shelling. Her cousin Olena took custody of the child. Elvira's brother and sister are serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Shakhtar Social provided financial assistance to the family and bought the necessary household appliances.
