Yuriy Taktashov was appointed Head of FC Shakhtar Sports Facilities Department in October 1999.

Beforethat, he worked as Director of the central cargo handling terminal for Yug Trading Company LLC, Deputy Director of whole sale and retailtrading association Yug Commercial Trading Company from 1994 to 1997; as the Shop Manager with Donetsk City Consumer Cooperative from 1989 to 1994; the Procurement Officer at Donetskvtorresursy from 1986 to 1989; the timber man at Oktyabrskoye Colliery of Donetskugol Production Association from 1977 to 1986.

Education:

In 1987, Mr. Taktashov graduated from Donetsk Polytechnic Institutewith a degree in Mining Engineering.

Honours:

He was awarded the Miners Glory badge of grade III, Medal for Excellent Work and Virtue and the Order of Merit of grade III.
