Shakhtar’s opponents in the friendly will be Slovácko (Uherské Hradiště), a representatives of the Czech First League. The game will take place in Brdo. It kicks off at 19:00 Kyiv time.

Opponents

FC Slovácko was founded in 2000 in the town of Uherské Hradiště through a merger of Synot and Slovácká Slavia. The club was granted a place in the Czech First League and competed there for seven seasons before spending two years in the Second League, remaining in the elite division since returning in 2009. The club’s highest league achievements were fourth-place finishes in the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. The only trophy in the history of the White-and-Blues is the Czech Cup, won in 2022. In the 2022/23 campaign, the team participated in the group stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League, finishing fourth in their group.

Slovácko finished the 2024/25 season in 13th spot in the Czech First League – the club’s worst result in the past 15 years. They collected 38 points in 35 matches (goal difference of 31-56).

As of July 1, 2025, Slovácko are managed by 43-year-old Czech coach Jan Kameník, who led Vyškov to a third-place finish in the Second League last season. The roster is made up mostly of Czech players, but also includes internationals from Slovakia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Austria, Angola and South Korea. Central midfielder Marek Havlík was the White-and-Blues’ top scorer last season, with 5 goals and 1 assist. He also made the most appearances (37) and played the most minutes (2,955). According to Transfermarkt, the most valuable players in the squad are Marek Havlík (EUR 550,000) and defender Andrej Stojčevski (EUR 500,000).

This summer, Slovácko have already played two friendly matches – a draw with Baník B (Ostrava, 1-1) and a defeat to Prostějov (1-4).
