This encounter will open the 2nd round of the championship. Fans can safely expect an uncompromising and hard-fought match for both sides. The team of Vitaliy Kvartsyanyi are always super-motivated for the games against the Pitmen, being doubly dangerous at their home ground.

For Volyn, the season kicked off with a draw in Poltava, where Vorskla looked more dangerous offensively, though the Lutsk side were the first to score. Vitaliy Kvartsyanyi also praised his side’s new signing - the striker Anatoliy Dydenko, who played for 90 minutes against Vorskla. Also, Serhiy Kravchenko, being loaned from Dnipro, and Oleksandr Nasonov, being back to Lutsk, also played for the full time.
