Shakhtar will face Croatian side Slaven Belupo Koprivnica in a friendly. The game will take place in Slovenia, with kickoff scheduled for 19:00 Kyiv time.

Opponents

NK Slaven Belupo was founded in 1907 in the city of Koprivnica. The team have competed continuously in the Croatian top flight since 1997. During that time, their best achievements have been runners-up in the league (2008) and reaching the Croatian Cup final on three occasions (2007, 2016, 2025). In the 2025/26 season, Slaven Belupo finished eighth in the SuperSport HNL, collecting 41 points from 36 matches (goal difference: 46-61), and reached the semi-finals of the Croatian Cup. The Pharmacists have enjoyed little success in European competitions, with their most recent continental campaign coming 14 years ago.

Slaven Belupo are coached by 38-year-old Mario Gregurina, who has been in charge since July 2025. The team captain is fellow 38-year-old centre-back Tomislav Bozic, who is set to begin his eighth season with the club. The Pharmacists' top performers last season were 20-year-old Croatia 21 midfielder Adriano Jagusic (9 goals, 6 assists), who joined Greek side Panathinaikos for EUR 5.2 million this summer, and 26-year-old winger Josip Mitrovic (9 goals, 2 assists), who is regarded as the most valuable player in the current squad, with Transfermarkt valuing him at EUR 1 million.

So far this pre-season, Slaven Belupo have played five friendlies: A win over Romanian side Csíkszereda (3-1), and defeats to Hungarian clubs Zalaegerszeg (2-3), Debrecen (0-1) and Paks (3-5), as well as Japanese outfit Sanfrecce Hiroshima (1-3).
