- I believe that we lost deservedly. It was a game of two halves today. I am absolutely pleased with the first half as the guys fulfilled the game plan. They were active, created some good chances, with Shakhtar having next to no advantage. We had a half-time talk at the dressing room: I told the team to continue in the same vein. But in the opening minutes of the second half, we conceded a goal, which made us expose ourselves and launch attacks. Of course, we knew how well the Pitmen operate on the counter, so later there were chances near our goal. We failed to convert the chances we had created. Shakhtar strengthened their attacking might through substitutions, scored more goals and won deservedly.
