- Metalist also claim to qualify from the group, it’s good that we managed to take three points away from them. The guys showed fighting qualities and did not lose concentration defensively. They had a responsible attitude to what we had agreed upon at the pre-match meeting. Kharkiv created a few dangerous chances in this game, with Turbayevskyi twice rescuing us. Important victory, now we are getting ready for the following games.

Shakhtar Donetsk  U16 1-0 (0-0)  Metalist Kharkiv U16

Goal: Prybluda (54’, pen.)

- This game is also important from the competition point of view, since we had an equal number of points with Kharkiv, - commented on the match the head coach of Shakhtar U16 Henadiy Zubov. - The encounter was not easy, with high intensity being persistent from start to finish. The boys’ will to win was noticeable, I would also like to note their commitment and fighting. It’s true that there was some technical errors, but we did our best and achieved victory. Metalist also looked fine. The visitors had good control of the ball. But even at half-time we told our team: the one who scores first will win. And so it happened. It is important that we played in a disciplined manner offensively and did not concede any goals.
