The new season has started and it is time to determine the player of the month
In July, Shakhtar footballers played twice in the Ukrainian Premier League, and one time each in the Ukrainian Super Cup and the Champions League qualification. Based on these games, we offer shakhtar.com users to choose the best player by taking part in our traditional survey.
Who to vote for?
Several players have started the new season in good shape. From the very first game Bernard demonstrated a great game in the Pitmen's starting XI. Not only did he lead the Donetsk team's attacks but he also acted a precise striker and quite successfully. Suffice it to recall his great shot into Zirka's goal, or the goal in the game against Young Boys.
Fred has also been keeping up with partner and compatriot - he clearly missed football after a forced break. He became a true leader of Shakhtar in midfield, and his assists, goals and selfless actions in tackling make a good case to call him the best player of the month.
Among other players of Paulo Fonseca's team we should note Ievgen Seleznov and Eduardo, who continue to demonstrate their striker skills. Taras Stepanenko, Marlos and Taison appeared very consistent in their positions. As always, Darijo Srna and Ismaili were active on defence flanks. So, vote and choose the best!
