Having had a rest day after the match against Karpaty, on Sunday the Pitmen went back to training. On the morning of August 14 the Donetsk team held a session on the Sviatoshyn base
Paulo Fonseca divided the squad into two groups. The players who appeared in the match with the Lviv team had a reduced program: jogging, fitness, and recovery. The rest of the team had two hours of intense training which included practising control of the ball and organization of the defence game. Taison trained separately from the general group.
Shakhtar are starting preparations for the match of the Europa League against Basaksehir Istanbul, which will take place on August 18.
