Shakhtar fans named the footballer of the month for July. The title was given to Bernard. The Brazilian was received 215 votes
The success of the Pitmen's #10 is not accidental. In the current season, Bernard was in truly great shape and was rightfully one of the best in a number of July matches. It's regretful that a shoulder injury received in a game against Chornomorets prevented him from continuing in the same fashion. However, last month, he distinguished himself with three scoring shots.
The Orange-and-Blacks supporters gave the second place to Dario Srna. Despite the fact that the captain did not have much time to recover from Euro 2016 in France, he demonstrated a consistently high level starting from the first games. He was given the votes of 202 website visitors.
198 votes were cast by fans for Viktor Kovalenko. In the beginning of the season the young Ukrainian did not have much playing time, but eventually he won a place in the starting line-up by demonstrating a rather good shape.
