I am happy to have appeared in 500 games, but in the team result is in the first place. I can say that Shakhtar had a fantastic first half today. – In the first half, the game was very good, in the second - a little worse. On the whole, we are satisfied with the result and the game. We scored two goals in an away game, although we could have scored more. Now everything is in our hands. After Young Boys it was very important to recover psychologically. Our team have everything, just sometimes lack motivation. There are different psychological states, fatigue, flights ... But when you go out onto the field, everything is forgotten, and the most important thing is victory.
– Are two away goals enough to feel comfortable before the return leg?
– In the first game with Young Boys the score was 2-0, and we lost in an away game in a penalty shoot-out. Therefore, we must be careful. Sunday will be a very important game against Dnipro. We are flying straight to Lviv from here to recover well. We have little time to get some rest. Everyone needs to be ready. The most important thing today is that we are leaving Istanbul with a win.
– The team returned to the old 4-2-3-1 formation. Is it more familiar and comfortable for you to play in it?
– Shakhtar has been playing like this for a long time. We have freedom in offense. It has been working well, but I'll say it again: we need to be more focused and aggressive in the final stage. We create a lot of quality chances, but do not always score. We will work on this.
