The Donetsk team footballers reflect on the match against Dnipro

Ivan Ordets, Shakhtar defender:

– It's a very important win and three points. The team currently have a difficult period, when we need to score and try not to concede at the same time. These are the main tasks. It's nice that I scored a goal today. I had waited for this for a long time, but only managed to score at the training camp, and now I finally managed to send the ball into the net in the league. The first goal is a memorable one, and I dedicate it to all family, friends and fans. You could say that the goal I scored was the result of a practised combination since we worked on set play during the past week.

Yaroslav Rakitskyy, Shakhtar defender:

– We started off well scoring two goals, while not allowing Dnipro to create anything at our goal. I think we had a good first half. The Dnipro have a young team, and they are only adapting to one another. I wish them good luck with that. In the second half we played more relaxed. Perhaps, it was the heat. However, we still managed to score two more goals. The main thing is that we won and got three points. Now the Ukrainian Premier League is different. There was much more struggle even three years ago: we he had to compete against Metalist, Metalurh Donetsk, the same Dnipro. When there is peace in our country, the league will improve, and then everything will be fine.

Eduardo, Shakhtar forward:

– We had a very good game and created a lot of scoring opportunities. It's a good thing that we scored two early goals - they gave us confidence and helped to finish the game with the necessary result. In recent matches we have returned to the tactical scheme with one striker, as opposed to the beginning of the season, when we played using the 4-4-2 formation. Maybe playing with one centre-forward is more familiar, although by and large the difference is not that great. The Pitmen's skill set allows us to win every match using any tactical scheme.
