The Pitmen's Brazilian midfielder was named the player of the match in the 5th round of the Premier League Shakhtar vs Dnipro
The team's head coach Paulo Fonseca presented Fred with an individual prize and congratulated him on the beautiful game.
– I am very pleased with this recognition, I work hard for it. I think that after the return I am in even better shape than before - said the Orange-and-Black's number 8. - I want to continue helping Shakhtar in the same rhythm, giving everything I got in every match. Despite the big score, the match against Dnipro was difficult. We faced a good team, but we played with great desire. Thanks to this frame of mind we were able to demonstrate high-class football and win.
