On August 26 Shakhtar will find out their opponents in the group stage of the Europa League
Altogether there will be 48 clubs in the main round distributed over 12 groups. According to the UEAF ratings, the Pitmen are in the first pot alongside Schalke (GER), Zenit (RUS), Manchester United (ENG), Athletic Club (ESP), Olympiacos (GRE), Villarreal (ESP), Ajax (NED), Internazionale Milano (ITA), Fiorentina (ITA), Anderlecht (BEL), Viktoria Plzeň (CZE)
