After the U21 championship match with Stal the Pitmen shared their impressions

Andrii Boiarchuk, Shakhtar U21 forward:

– The game was difficult. In addition, the weather has made its adjustments. The whole week it was pretty cool for a summer, and today it was more than 25 degrees. Of course, it was hard in the first half because of that. After the half-time, the heat subsided a bit, but still made itself felt, and we looked somewhat tired. Nevertheless, the team rallied and won the match. And we won not because of the class, but character. As for the opponents, Stal have a pretty good team. Even after a send-off the opponents played openly, not closing in their half, putting pressure on us. In the dying minutes after having scored two goals, we managed to calm the game a little bit and bring it to a win.
The hardest part was the first half, and until we opened the scoring. Stal, which managed to take away points from Dynamo, looked pretty good, and created difficulties focus
Mykyta Adamenko, Shakhtar U21 midfielder:

– Yes, the match was intense, but nevertheless we managed it, and I think, deservedly won the three points. The hardest part was the first half, and until we opened the scoring. We had to score to calm down a little. In the end we scored two more times, and it became clear that win is ours. Stal, which managed to take away points from Dynamo, looked pretty good, and created difficulties focus. As for my goal, it was the result of a practised combination: Giorgi Arabidze passed to me at the gate, and I shot past the goalkeeper.
