They have confirmed the Pitmen’s plan of preparation for the season’s second part
After the winter break, Paulo Fonseca's team will gather on 14 January to conduct two training camps. From 14 to 22 January, Shakhtar will train in La Manga, Spain. Then, the team will return to Kyiv for a few days, and on January 25 they will start their second training camp in Portugal. The Orange-and-Blacks will travel to the southern region of Algarve and will be based in the city of Lagos.
In Portugal, the Donetsk team will participate in the Atlantic Cup 2017 together with Aarhus (Denmark), Djurgarden and Örebro (Sweden), as well as Jablonec (Czech Republic). Besides, the coaching staff are planning two more friendly games.
The training camp in Portugal is to end on 9 February. However, given that the Pitmen are to play their Europa League round of 32 first leg in Spain, they may change the training programme.
