On the Braga vs Shakhtar matchday morning, Shakhtar coaching staff and players went for a traditional walk around the city
Braga, which was founded 2250 years ago, boasts numerous attractions and tourist routes. This time, the Pitmen visited its central part, where the architecture and the spirit of one of the oldest Christian cities in Portugal have been preserved. The sightseeing tour was personally guided by Paulo Fonseca, who is well familiar with the district. He enjoyed the greatest popularity among the locals, who did not miss the opportunity to have some pictures taken with the coach and to exchange a couple of jokes about today's match. Meanwhile, our compatriots residing in Braga added more player autographs to their collections and wished the Donetsk team winning the league title and the Europa League one.
After an hour's walk, the team returned to the hotel. Next on the schedule they have lunch, some rest and departure for the match. The Pitmen will play in their white-and-orange outfit, with the Portuguese team dressed in black-and-red uniform.
