On July 9, Shakhtar will take on Nordsjælland as part of their training camp in the Netherlands

The club represents the small town of Farum. It was founded in 1991 and was originally called Farum Boldklub. The club obtained its present name in 2003 - this time rightly considered the beginning of its modern history.

Shakhtar fans are quite familiar with Nordsjælland through games in the group stage of the Champions League 2012/13. That season the Pitmen twice defeated the Danes (2-0 at the Donbass Arena and 5-2 in Copenhagen).

In 2010 and 2011, the Farum team became the Danish Cup winners, and in 2012 created a sensation by becoming domestic champions. Nordsjælland finished 2nd in the following season of the Danish Superliga, and subsequently claimed the 6th place twice and did not get into the European competitions, coming in 9th in the season.

Same as four years ago, the team is headed by the coach Kasper Hjulmand. After his success with Nordsjælland, the Danish professional tried his hand in the German Bundesliga with Mainz 05. In December 2015, Hjulmand returned to Farum.

The kick-off of Nordsjælland vs Shakhtar friendly match is at 5:00 pm Kyiv time (EET). Follow the online broadcast and news on shakhtar.com or watch the game live on Futbol 2 TV channel.
