Young Boys already in Lviv

The opponents of Shakhtar in the third qualifying round of the Champions League have arrived to the city in a good mood

The representatives of Young Boys checked in at the hotel around midday, and held an open training session at the Arena Lviv in the evening. Before the start of the training session, the team’s mentor Adi Hütter and the Bees’ attacking spearhead Guillaume Hoarau answered the questions from reporters.

The Young Boys head coach Adi Hütter has promised that his team will try to attack: Shakhtar are the favourites of the upcoming meeting. We are facing two games against the strong opponents, and we will try to achieve a good result. I can promise you that Young Boys will not be just sitting deep throughout the game, because we are not the team who operate that way. Plus Shakhtar are too good to be allowed to attack throughout the match.

We proceed from the fact that we - in order to advance further - will need one goal in Lviv. That’s quite an important objective, but at the same time we must watch our defensive performance.

The team striker Guillaume Hoarau also believes that the Pitmen have a better chance of winning: Naturally, we are not the favourites in this match, but we'll do everything we can to show great game and to prove our worth. It is an important opportunity. We hope that tomorrow spectators will see a good, exciting and entertaining game.

After twenty minutes of communication with the media, the visitors had a training session at the Arena Lviv.
