On June 5, in the first play-off game of the Colt Football League, Shakhtar U15 took on their Odesa-based counterparts DUSSh-11 Chornomorets

Shakhtar U15 (Donetsk) 1-1 (0-0) DUSSh-11 Chornomorets U15 (Odesa)

Goal against opponents: own goal (68)

Shakhtar U15: Trubin, Fedoruk, Kharchenko (Chyzh, 14), Aussie, Yalosovetskyi, Biblik, Kabrel, Pelypak (Kopytikov, 48), Dyakov (Babenko, 48), Zorilo, Sidorov

Head coach: Oleksandr Ladeyko
Coach: Oscar Ratulutra

- Just as we expected, the opponents just parked the bus, while we spent most of the time attacking, - the head coach of Shakhtar U15 Oleksandr Ladeyko gave his comment. - It was not easy to rip open the opposition defence, plus the pace regularly strayed due to continuous stops and fall-downs. We should have scored in the first half, but the woodwork came to the Odesans’ rescue. And in one of the episodes, an opposing defender just cleared the ball, which was rolling into the unguarded goal following Sidorov’s shot. We conceded a goal after a counter-attack, enjoying our pressure finally bearing fruit two minutes from time: following Kopytikov crossing the ball, the visitors sent the ball into their own net. 1-1 is not a very nice outcome for us, but we will still have the return leg, so nothing is lost yet.
