Stepanenko: We must win our next game

- It is clear that  we can’t lose heart no matter what. This was our first game against the group leaders. We must prepare for the upcoming two matches and win, trying to do it in the next encounter, just giving our all. Today, everyone seemed to try hard, but class is class. The opponents capitalised on the chances they created. We also had a couple of good chances in the first half. Yevhen Konoplyanka’s chance was very similar to that of Schweinsteiger, with the ball being cleared away from the opposition goal. Had they equalised, it would have been psychologically easier. But we just realized that were losing 0-1, that we had to charge forward with no more strength. Germany had great control of the ball, it was difficult to get it away. When you do a lot of rough work, you have virtually no strength left to play offensively and charge forward. But we have what we have. We played against the top side, we saw the level of competition and we are preparing for our next match.
