With the captain's armband on, Eduardo led the Orange-Black side for the game against KIFA Pro Team. We also want to note the return of Fred and the appearance of Oleh DanchenkoVyacheslav Tankovskyi and Andriy Totovytskyi in the starting line-up.

Zubkov earned a free kick in midfield, some 22 metres away from goal, with Bernard immaculately converting the set piece ending up in the left-hand side corner of the goal
First half

Shakhtar got off to a flying start and opened the scoring as early as on 3 minutes: Totovytskyi penetrated the penalty area, beat a defender and crossed it, with Zubkov getting on end of the cross at the far post to send it home. A few minutes later, Shakhtar netted another one. Zubkov earned a free kick in midfield, some 22 metres away from goal, with Bernard immaculately converting the set piece ending up in the left-hand side corner of the goal. A similar shot in a similar situation was produced by Eduardo, only to see the goalkeeper stop it. On 39 minutes, the score got an even more lopsided look: Bernard sped up down the centre and and fed Eduardo on the right. The goalkeeper left the goal and beat the Shakhtar striker, but the ball took deflection and bounced just off to Totovytskyi – 0-3. Before the break, Andriy grabbed a brace taking advantage of Fred’s delivery.
Petryak netted a real stunner after firing a powerful shot from long range, leaving no chance to the goalkeeper

During the break, Paulo Fonseca almost completely renewed the line-up. The second half started with a goal: following a free kick by Dentinho, the goalkeeper turned the ball into the crossbar, with Ferreyra being the first on the ball to finish it off. Subsequently, KIFA Pro Team managed to fulfil a few dangerous attacking moves, one of which ended in a close-range shot by Van der Velden and a save by Sarnavskyi. Overall, Shakhtar dominated possession. On 71 minutes, Boriachukgot himself on the scoresheet after bending a Dentinho assist into the bottom corner. Petryak netted a real stunner after firing a powerful shot from long range, leaving no chance to the goalkeeper.
