Shakhtar in the Netherlands: training to music

The coaching staff continues to surprise the players not only with new exercises: today, the players were warming up to music.

- In Brazil, virtually all our training sessions were accompanied by music, - said Shakhtar midfielder Wellington Nem. – It’s a normal practice for our country. Here, we’ve had it for the first time. In general, the coaches are trying to diversify our sessions. All the exercises are interesting and productive. Paulo Fonseca gives us a lot of attention both on and off the pitch.

The Pitmen dedicated the second half of the training session to tactics. The defenders - under the supervision of the head coach - mastered transitions from defence, with midfielders and forwards working on the final attacking phase. Marlos and Taison have joined the general group.
