Marlos is scorer of the season's best goal

For several days the fans had been casting their votes on shakhtar.com to determine the team's best goal of the previous season. Let us sum up the results of the voting
A total of 1,283 football fans took part in the poll. The number three spot was given to a shot by Yaroslav Rakits’kyy in an away game against Metalist. His goal received 181 (14.11%) votes. The October goal by Taras Stepanenko in a match with Zorya came in second - 243 (18.94%) votes.
And the majority of the football fans - 429 (33.44%) - picked a goal by Marlos into the net of Schalke 04. The Brazilian midfielder won the vote and shared his impressions.
"I appreciate that the fans chose me. It was not only beautiful, but also an important goal, which gave us confidence in subsequent matches. Overall we had a great season, and I am happy," Marlos stated, "All of us need to continue working every day to become better. Shakhtar has to fight for silverware in every tournament and advance as far as possible in European club competitions. Once again, I'd like to say that I am very grateful that the fans value my performance so much, and treat me with such warmth and sincerity. I want to thank them all for this honour!"
