The Pitmen are preparing for another friendly game at the training camp in the Netherlands

On June 28, the Orange-Black team had two training sessions. The morning customarily started with fitness training. Then, the Donetsk team moved to the stadium in De Lutte. The team go to the pitch by bus, but Paulo Fonseca has preferred biking today. The two-hour session included ball control exercises, practising tactical elements, as well as crossing with finishing. Gradually, the language barrier in the team is disapppearing. The coaches have been actively studying Russian, pronouncing many spoken phrases almost without an accent.

- For me everything is new now, because I have never trained with the first team, - said Shakhtar goalkeeper Oleh Kudryk. – It’s a completely different level. A lot of interesting exercises, that’s a great experience. It was nice to play the first match for Shakhtar. Especially among the starting XI. Thanks to Paulo Fonseca for his trust. Antonio Ferreira is a top expert. It’s a pleasure to work with him. He demands that we use our feet more and try to save every goal. And, of course, to keep clean sheets.

After lunch, a theory session awaited the team. The footballers analysed the match against SV Meppen. And at the evening session, Paulo Fonseca continued tactical training.
