Shakhtar U17 in the DUFL semi-finals

In the three matches of the group stage of the Junior Football League, the Pitmen U17 obtained 9 points and reached the semi-finals by taking the first place in group B
In the first match Valeriy Rudakov's team defeated Dnipro 4-0 with braces by Kuzmenko and Kashchuk.
In the second round, the Donetsk team overcame Volyn (Lutsk) 3-0. The two goals were scored by Kashchuk and another one by Haivan.
In the final match the Orange-and-Black overpowered UFC-Karpaty (Lviv) with a minimum score of 1-0 . The single goal was scored by Kashchuk.
The Pitmen U17 will meet their counterparts from Karpaty Lviv in the semifinals of the tournament on July 1. The other pair will include Dynamo Kyiv and the UFC Karapaty. The final match and the 3rd spot match will be held on July 3 at the Ukraina Stadium in Lviv.
- It was a good thing that we did not concede a single goal in all three matches and scored eight times, - the head coach of Shakhtar U17 Valeriy Rudakov says. - Of course, there are certain aspects in our attack that we would like to improve. We are acting reliably in defense, but there is a technical fault in the attack. Although, it should be noted that all of our opponents played a very tight defense. But in general, we are definitely pleased with this result.
