On July 2, Shakhtar will have another game at the training camp in the Netherlands. The Orange-Black team’s opponents are the local Vitesse
The Pitmen are to take on one of the oldest teams in the country. SBV Vitesse was founded in 1892 in the city of Arnhem located in the east of the Netherlands. Shakhtar’s opponents have a rich football history, which, however, cannot boast any outstanding achievements. Winning the third place in the 1997/98 season can be considered Vitesse’s biggest domestic league success. The team became the domestic Сup runners-up three times, for the last time back in 1990. Based on the 2015/16 season results, Vitesse claimed the ninth spot in the domestic top flight.
