Shakhtar’s seven players called up to national team

Seven Shakhtar players have received an international call-up to the Ukraine national team. The FFU sent a corresponding fax invitation to the Donetsk club
Goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov, defenders Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakits’kyy and Vyacheslav Shevchuk, as well as midfielders Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko and Maksym Malyshev are expected to arrive to the national camp site on 22 May. The Yellow-Blues’ training camp kicks off on the above date.
On 29 May, Mykhailo Fomenko’s charges will play a friendly vs Romania and on 3 June, they will take on Albania.

After that, Ukraine national team will travel to France, where they will take part in the 2016 European Championship finals.
