The encounter was commented on by Shakhtar U14 coach Andriy Zabolotnyi:

- We prepared the boys for taking the ball under control, shifting it between the wings and rip opening the opposition defence from the flanks. The first goal after a set piece was scored by Avdeev, with Monolith aping to expose themselves, with us scoring six more goals in the remaining time. I want to note that the players who came on fter the break not only weakened the game, but on the contrary, they strengthened it. Today’s goal galore is not the limit, we could have scored more. We are happy with the dedication and attitude of the boys to the game. Especially as this game is important for us in terms of preparation for the meeting with Dynamo.

- They clinched a strong-willed victory, - commented on the match the head coach of Shakhtar U16 Gennadiy Zubov. - It was hard to adjust to the outsiders after playing against the group leaders. Despite the fact that we gave one away early doors, we enjoyed a major advantage. We asked the guys to properly use the ball in such a situation. Even in the first half, we created many chances, but, unfortunately, we managed to score only towards the end of the match. Through those goals, we brought the game to the logical conclusion.

- This was a good match, we controlled the course of the game, - said the head coach of Shakhtar U15 Oleksandr Ladeyko. – We combined and attacked pretty well, but, unfortunately, today we scored only after set pieces. Although we had a chance to excel directly from play, threatened, but the guys obviously lacked concentration while finishing. At the same time, the opponents hardly created any dangerous chances in our goalmouth, so we felt confident. We’ve got a good impression.

Head coach: Valeriy Rudakov
Coach: Oleksandr Koval

The match was commented on by the head coach of Shakhtar U17 Valeriy Rudakov:

- We train on the artificial pitch, but today we played on an excellent natural turf. It took us a little time to get used to it, so we didn’t convert our advantage straight away. Of course, we had some errors when making the closing pass, but in general we controlled the ball well, making use of our own spaces, with the opposition goalkeeper playing immaculately. However, we managed to score and claim the necessary three points. We are happy with the outcome.
