On May 22, Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv hosted a solemn farewell of Ukraine national team leaving for the European Championships 2016 to be held in France
Let us remind you that Mykhailo Fomenko called up seven Shakhtar players: the goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov, the defenders Oleksandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakits’kyy and Vyacheslav Shevchuk, as well as the midfielders Taras Stepanenko,Viktor Kovalenko and Maksym Malyshev.
Now the Ukraine national team are heading for Italy, where on May 29 they will play a friendly match against Romania, also planning to play against Albania on June 3.
The first Euro 2016 game involving the charges of Mykhailo Fomenko is to be held on 12 June. The opponents areGermany national team.
