During the league break, Shakhtar U21 striker Giorgi Arabidze took part in the Four Nations Tournament with Georgia U19. After that, he was capped by Georgia for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Moldova

Arabidze made two appearances for Georgia U19 – against Spain U19 (0-3) and France U19 (0-4). In the first meeting he played for 77 minutes, in the second he was replaced at half-time. The head coach of Georgia national team Vladimir Vaiss has noticed Shakhtar’s talented player. He put Giorgi on the senior national team list vs Moldova. However, they had to postpone the debut of the 18-year-old Pitman. Arabidze spent the game on the bench, with the Georgians failing to win, being tied 1-1.
