Shakhtar preparing to take on Dnipro

The day after the Europa League win over Konyaspor, the Pitmen started preparing for the Ukrainian Premier League round 16 game vs Dnipro
To differ from yesterday, when the coaching staff focused mainly on the players’ recovery, today the Orange-and-Blacks have had an intense ninety-minute session. Before the start of the session, Paulo Fonseca held a theory session with the team, with the Pitmen focusing on tactical exercises while on the pitch.
Facundo Ferreyra is not preparing for the meeting with Dnipro. The Argentine striker has a minor back injury and he trains individually. Let us remind you that due to the yellow cards received in the previous round, Darijo Srna, Maksym Malyshev and Bernard will also miss the game vs Dnipro.
Further plans of the league leaders include dinner, some rest and a flight to Dnipro. The flight from Sikorsky international airport is scheduled for 20:30 EET.
The Dnipro vs Shakhtar game will be held on 27 November. It kicks off at 19:30 EET. The game will be aired live on 2+2 TV channel.
