Footballers of the Donetsk club shared their impressions of the game
Dentinho, Shakhtar midfielder:
- We were playing away, so it is not surprising that the encounter was tough. Oleksandriya have a good team displaying pretty good football. Before this game, the opponents did not suffer defeats in six games. And on their home pitch, they play aggressively, trying to apply pressure. Overall, Shakhtar looked pretty decent, given that we have to play so many games and that some fatigue accumulated. In the first half, we had good control of the game, scoring two goals. Unfortunately, we conceded one immediately after the break. But we secured the win, which we are certainly happy with. It is very important to win every match and remain the leaders. As for my goal, as Fred said, I am lucky in this stadium: here I netted three goals and had one assist. I hope to continue in the same vein and get myself on the scoresheet not only in Oleksandriya, but also at the other arenas. I want to continue being helpful to Shakhtar, because that’s the most important thing for me.
