Ukraine head coach Andriy Shevchenko has named the players to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Finland
The list features nine Shakhtar players: the goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov; the defenders Olexandr Kucher, Yaroslav Rakitskyy, Bohdan Butko, Ivan Ordets and Serhii Kryvtsov; as well as the midfielders Taras Stepanenko, Maksym Malyshev and Viktor Kovalenko.
We want to note that on November 12, Ukraine national teamwill meet with Finland in the framework of the 2018 World Cup qualification,also playing a friendly against Serbia on November 15.
Three Shakhtar first team players will represent Shakhtar in the Ukraine U21 team. Oleksandr Holovko has called up the following players for the friendly against Belarus (11 November): the defender Mykola Matviienko, the midfielder Oleksandr Zubkov and the striker Andrii Boriachuk.
