Shakhtar to play Olimpik soon

After resting for two days, on Monday, October 10, the Pitmen started preparing for the Ukrainian Premier League Matchday 11 game vs Olimpik Donetsk
This morning, the team gathered at the Sviatoshyn base. Paulo Fonseca announced a day off for the Shakhtar internationals who took part in qualifiers of the 2018 World Cup and the 2017 UEFA European U21 Championship.
Despite adverse weather conditions (with showers going on for four days in Kyiv), the Orange-and-Blacks had the necessary ninety minutes of intense training. The main group involved 18 players. Yaroslav Rakitskyy, recovering from a hip injury recurrence, exercised individually. Shakhtar goalkeeper Mykyta Shevchenko, who recently underwent meniscal surgery, has started jogging.
Before the game vs Olimpik, the Pitmen will be training in the morning.
