Mentor of Shakhtar U21 summed up the victorious game against Zorya

- We beat a good, organised team, who pay a lot of attention to their defensive performance. Throughout the match, we were faced with massive defending, with the opposition players operating wisely and selflessly. But we must give credit to the guys, who combined a lot, looking for different ways to approach the Luhansk goal, succeeding to score late in the first half: Mykola Matviienko crossed in a very timely manner, with Tankovskyi finishing it off. In the second half, the game did not change at all: we dominated possession, having good opportunities to extend the lead. However, they succeeded to do so only at the end of the game, when Yalovenko, who came on as a substitute, cleared his first ball, my congrats to him on that! Currently, many guys are going on international duty. We wished them good luck and wished them to come back without any injuries. We will spend the two weeks training, perhaps we will arrange a friendly game and prepare for our next match.
