- Firstly, we are faced with staffing problems. We understand that we do not have the squad depth. Borovyk is ill, Bezruk was unable to arrive for family reasons, Danchenko missed it, plus Andriievskyi. We can feel it when three first-team regulars are out. Nevertheless, I am grateful to the guys, because some of them played having a slight indisposition. The previous meetings exhausted us emotionally. Of course, we did not plan to make substitutions immediately and change it, but the goal we caused ourselves made certain adjustments. Also, it caught my eye that with so many passing errors in simple situations, it was very difficult to expect a positive result. I want to give Shakhtar their due: I am sure that with that kind of line-up, they will find themselves in the Europa League final. In fact, the Pitmen probably fielded their strongest line-up today. We'll move on. Now the most important thing is ensuring the lads’ recovery and preparing for the next match.

- I cannot say that we defended well – we had some failures, with the opponents having some scoring opportunities. We know that the Donetsk team are very strong on the counter. There were episodes when we exposed ourselves. However, the killer pass quality or our passing errors allowed the opponents to counterattack us. I think Shakhtar played based on the score – 2-0 was fine with them. To return to the game, we wanted to score, and we had a half-chance after a set piece, but we wasted it.
