Shakhtar vs Zorya: players’ opinions

- It was a tough encounter. Zorya is an excellent team, and today they have once again proved their class. Everyone saw how Luhansk played in the European club cup competition against Fenerbahce and Manchester United, also showcasing excellent performance in the Ukrainian League. Therefore, today's victory is very important for us. Of course, I am happy today to have scored the game decider. But I had two more chances that I must have converted. After this victory, we have strengthened our leadership, but we shouldn’t get complacent. We are still facing many challenging games ahead.

- Zorya is a skilled and strong team. Today, Luhansk caused us quite a number of problems. They played in an organized way, expertly marking our players, which made it more difficult for us. Now we feel the satisfaction of the work done. Those are very important three points for Shakhtar. We have to stay in the lead and move towards our goal – claiming the championship.
